What it is, and why it works.
Shade sails are architectural shade at a friendly price. Stretched tight between steel posts and walls, a triangle or rectangle of high-density fabric blocks the majority of UV rays, drops patio temperatures and adds a clean, sculptural shape to the yard. Retractable shades and awnings give flexible cover close to the house.
Anchoring is everything. We set engineered posts in concrete, choose fabric and color for your climate, and tension the sails to shed rain and wind. They work especially well over play areas, pool decks and Nashville patios that need shade quickly.

Do shade sails survive storms?
Properly tensioned sails on engineered posts handle most weather. In severe storms or winter, sails can be released and stored.
Do shade sails keep out rain?
Most are breathable and not waterproof. Waterproof versions are available for specific uses.
